Size: approx 1 cm
The swept-back antennae look like those of some of the click beetle images I found, but I couldn't find anything like the red markings on the head. We were parked in a low elevation coniferous forest with a door open when this creature landed for a few moments on the foam seal at the top of the door.

Ellychnia corrusca?
Thanks! Whoops - I asked you at first whether this could be Ellychnia corrusca based on one id I've found that you have done. Since that I've found notes in another id for WA, pretty much due south from us, that corrusca it is an eastern species, so not what we have here.
