Moth
Arlington, Texas , Tarrant County, Texas County, Texas, USA
May 25, 2018
Species:
T. bisselliella - Per exterminator (this is a x100’s magnification as they are tiny and hard to find the adults - it’s the larvae and casings you’ll normally find)
My home was/is infested by these moths. I never realized how quickly a complete and total infestation can happen in the home. But these moths took over my home/clothing/carpets. They cause severe dermatitis to me and my animals as well. No vet could diagnose and after five exterminators, I finally had one bring a scope with him and correctly diagnose this infestation. Everything in my home was infested. They love dust and fur and food and get into everything!!
