Leucrocuta
Hi pgrin-

I believe this female imago to be of genus Leucrocuta.

Leucrocuta ID tips
I'm trying to learn about Heptageniidae adults (and subimagoes) in general. I'm having some confusion about what to look for in Leucrocuta. I see this image and ID from Roger, but I also see what appears to be a very similar critter here https://bugguide.net/node/view/1392437/bgimage, with a suggestion that it's Stenacron. And mention that Leucrocuta does not have spots on the side of the abdomen. Most of the images I see throughout the internet show Lecrocuta with an angled stripe on the side of abdomen, not a dot. What ARE the best characters for identifying Leuc. imagoes and sub-imagoes?
Thanks,
Jerry
