Desert Elfin (Callophrys foits) - Callophrys fotis
Currant (about 4 miles from the junction of US Route 6 and NV Route 379), White Pine County, Nevada, USA
May 1, 2018
Size: < 1/2 inch
Basking in the sun minutes prior to a thunderstorm beginning. It was in a community-use quarry. The dominant vegetation is sagebrush with scattered Western Juniper. I used Butterflies through Binoculars: The West for my identification.

Callophrys fotis. Your elfin options are pretty limited in Nevada. Should be moved to the species page.
