Walking stick - Carausius morosus

Walking stick - Carausius morosus
Pacifica, San Mateo County, California, USA
May 15, 2018
Is this an invasive species and can you ID it?

Moved
The diagnostic feature on this introduced species is reddish coloration on the inner foreleg femur, but I'm confident moving this to species based on the body shape and the white marking on back (seems to be pretty consistent in adult females)

Moved from ID Request.
