Leaf mines on Jumpseed, Persicaria (Polygonum) virginiana - Mantura floridana

Jumpseed is an abundant plant here, and I've never seen leaf miners on it. Several plants had these mines, each leaf with multiple miners in them. This larva was on the leaf surface. I suspect maybe the beetle Mantura floridana?
