Brachycoryna dolorosa
Lake Annie, Modoc County, California, USA

Size: ca 2-3 mm
Beat from Artemisia. I assume this is the same tribe as the one I found yesterday at Stough Reservoir, a rather different habitat but with a few of the same plants.

I second Blaine’s suggestion
B. dolorosa fits, B. montana can be ruled out as it’s elytra and pronotum are not glabrous.
