Moved
Moved from Afrogethes.

Type images
A.canadensis seems to have less serrate protibiae and is of north/western north/western distribution.

Keys out as saevus also here

Moved
Moved from Common Pollen Beetle.

Strongly serrate protibiae are genus character of Afrogethes.
It is unclear which of the two native species occurs in Texas - found none of them mentioned - but this may probably be A. saevus (Boraginaceaen hosts)
