Hayden Prairie, Howard County, Iowa, USA

Size: 5 mm length
May 25, 2018: collected 2 brilliant small larvae on Bastard Toadflax, Comandra umbellata
unfortunately they were both dead
Bastard Toadflax is host to Acleris comandrana

June 5, 2018: visited the prairie again, found 1 more larva, dead

2020: another chance to rear
