That would be even more unrealistic. It is about the size of the head and thorax region of a Virginia tiger beetle in my collection. Wish I could show you a picture, but I guarantee that it is not three inches long.

I intended .7 centimeters. Ten times .7 centimeters is approximately 3 inches. Ten times .7 millimeters is precisely its size.

probably in the genus Calligrapha
