Orange and Black Robber Fly - Laphria aktis - male

Orange and Black Robber Fly - Laphria aktis - Male
Lena Park, Starke County, Indiana, USA
June 3, 2018
Photographed perched on a sunny leaf in a black sand white oak woodland near a vernal swamp. I believe this is a male robber fly, probably a Laphria. To me it looks like it might be in the L. sericiea complex, and I thought it might be worthy of posting here because there's not one yet from Indiana, and the photo of the genitalia (second image) may be of some use to an expert.
