Unknown Dragonfly - Somatochlora linearis
Flat Branch, Harnett County, North Carolina, USA

I found this dragonfly on the edge of a field. I could not get a good shot of it, I stood out there for sometime hoping it would land, but it didn't. I attempted some inflight shots of it,but it didn't turn out very well. Hopefully, someone with a lot more knowledge of these than I can glean something from them to identify it at least a little further. Thanks!
