I am thinking the predator may be in Muscidae, possibly something like Coenosia - Tiger Flies, and the prey Family Dolichopodidae - Longlegged Flies, maybe close to Condylostylus. Photographed on Achillea millefolium - Yarrow.

"Condylostylus" is just a guess based on coloration and the fact that longleggged flies of that genus are common in my yard. The other is even less certain ...
