Nephrotoma?

Nephrotoma?
southern Adirondack Mts., Saratoga County, New York, USA
June 9, 2018
Time 15:28, Temp lo 70s F. This insect landed at my feet while I was walking a gravel driveway through mixed woods. It flew awkwardly to move a few inches at a time. The long legs and wings suggest a crane fly. The right-hand photo shows some info on the wings, which were in constant motion. The posterior of the abdomen was folded under somewhat in both photos. The anterior coloration and markings of this individual resemble some BG photos of Nephrotoma; maybe pedunculata or alterna. Please verify, correct, and/or suggest other alternatives. Thanks!
