Eumeninae (female) - Not Ancistrocerus
Tranversal keel on first urotergite, typical of Ancistrocerus, is missing. Instead, this sclerite is smoothly rounded (especially visible on left picture).
Markings do vary in virtually every Vespid species, but no Ancistrocerus has a so extensively yellow metanotum combined with an all black mesoscutellum.
This small Eumenine with short tegulae is either a Parancistrocerus or a Stenodynerus. Dr Buck's expertise is needed.

Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the info, Richard. I had a feeling I was off-base on this one.

Ancistrocerus
Not sure, A. Campestris maybe but I'm not certain about the markings. I'm not sure how variable the abdomen markings can be.
