Brown horsefly

Brown horsefly
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
June 13, 2018
This was a large horsefly type bug with black eyes. His thorax was tan with pinkish streaks. His abdomen was brown. I counted seven segments. He had yellowish fuzz in between some segments. His wings were brown and translucent. I have not photographed one, but this looks like it could be Tabanus sulcifrons.
