Larva - Lambdina fiscellaria

Larva - Lambdina fiscellaria

Can anyone ID this larva? Is it from a moth, caterpillar, sawfly, etc?

Eastern Hemlock Looper, Lambdina fiscellaria
This is likely an Eastern Hemlock Looper, Lambdina fiscellaria fiscellaria. We've done numerous studies on them here at CFS.

Edit: here is a link to the species at CFS: http://imfc.cfl.scf.rncan.gc.ca/insecte-insect-eng.asp?geID=8846&ind=H

Can't see the prolegs well,
but we would guess this is one of the moths in the Geometrid Family.
