Yesterday I was at the beach in a light rain with no camera. I saw hundreds of things like this along the salt marsh on Iva, Baccharis, and Myrica. ???

They eat woodlice. I have seen them around a rotting tree.

 
So today, with excellent weat
So today, with excellent weather, I was on a saltmarsh within sight of last week's place and saw nothing to compare with the hundreds of flies that I saw last week.
