Size: 9 mm
Bee from cocoons harvested from 4 mm cardboard tubes in 2017. Bee just starting to mature, this one opened manually to examine. Cardboard tube sealed with pine sap and few grains of sand at the outside end. Cotton-like appearance under resin separating cocoons. Cocoon casing in picture, cellophane-like.
