Painted Eggs - Corydalus cornutus

Painted Eggs - Corydalus cornutus
Vancleave, Jackson County, Mississippi, USA
June 13, 2018
This is on an exterior wall in Vancleave MS.  It looks like eggs laid and then painted over by the layer of the eggs.

The eggs are in the shape of an oval. It appears that the egg layer has the ability to paint over the eggs after depositing them together in an oval shape.

Any idea what creature did this?

Moved from ID Request.

These are dobsonfly eggs.

Satin Moth?
The Satin Moth has been suggested as a possible layer, but I haven't found any closely similar pics.
