Moved
Moved from Bradycellus congener. I agree with Peter. This is the most common carabid I see at lights. Distinctive iridescence on elytra but not pronotum. You can slightly see the iridescence here.

Harpalini : not Bradycellus congener
Bradycellus congener does not exceed 4.8 mm; has dull elytra, has dorsum that is not uniformly black, i.e., lighter brownish color of pronotum and longitudinally along elytral suture. All other "Bradycellus congener" posted on BG suffer from same flaw in identification. Body habitus, pronotal shape, larger size (ca 6 mm), shiny black (should be iridescent elytra), and red-yellow legs are features that reminds me of the very common Stenolophus ochropezus.

Thanks Peter and Brad
Should any of the others in Bradycellus congener be moved also?

Yes, please move current two other "Bradycellus congener"
in Guide to Stenolophus ochropezus. Thanks.
