Leptoglossus phyllopus with baggage - Leptoglossus phyllopus

Leptoglossus phyllopus with baggage - Leptoglossus phyllopus
Sun City Center Nature Trails, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA

White globule on the head is possibly the egg of a parasite. In NJ I watched a feather-legged fly (trichopoda sp.) pop an egg onto the thorax of a coreid but this is Florida and that's the head. Any input is appreciated.

Yep
The white object is a tachinid egg. See others here.

Thank you Ken
That links to a nice page!
I've added an image with a tight crop on the egg. Since no images there show a macro of the egg, this may or may not be of use for that guide page under coreidae / leptoglossus phyllopus.
Apparently the head is the consistent target which raises the question of why? Ain't no meat on the bone there so there may be another reason.
