Condica charada is larger and darker overall, with maculation more distinct. In
charada the central dark lunule of the reniform spot is surrounded by lighter ring, whereas in
leucorena there is only a small white dot at the ventral apex. The orbicular spot is always present as a light ovate patch in
charada, whereas the orbicular is typically absent in
leucorena, but if present is only a small dark dot surrounded by lighter halo. The hindwing of
charada has a darker band near the outer margin that is lacking in
leucorena.
