Two toe hopper - Paraulacizes irrorata

Two toe hopper - Paraulacizes irrorata
Chilton County, Alabama, USA
June 19, 2018
This was a black, elongated, hopper-like bug that had light green to white speckles all over. He had a prominent bright yellow patch just below his thorax at the base of his wings in the midline. Just above this there were outlines of two small, broken, yellow circles. He appeared to have two toes on all his legs. There were more bright yellow dots on the costa, with the boldest around the AM area. He had large brown eyes and pinkish shading around his mouth.
