Goes tesselatus, in my opinion...
The frons appears to be flat in the lateral view and there are subtle vittae of ochraceous pubescence discernible on the elytra. Goes tumifrons has the frons convex (hence the name!) and lacks the vittae - having the elytra a regular gray coloration.

kept?
Any chance you held on to this specimen? I have been seeking southern Goes species for study.

Sorry, he posed for his photo for about 2 seconds and then off he went.
If I see one again should I save it?

Yes.
It is either Goes tumifrons or Goes tesselatus. The differences between the two species are subtle. Perhaps someone with more experience separating the two can chime in?
