I collected this leaf for a c
I collected this leaf for a completely different purpose, and happened to see the mine when examining it for other reasons. I never would have seen it otherwise. I can post close-up photos soon. I found and collected several leaves with apparent mines like this, and one with an apparent cocoon (broken and empty) on the underside of the leaf--not sure if the mines and the cocoon are connected, yet the cocoon did look vaguely like other Bucculatrix cocoons I've seen (perhaps wishful thinking?). I looked for other cocoons and found none.
