Orange moth with red border - Datana

Orange moth with red border - Datana
Chilton County, Alabama, USA
June 27, 2018
This was a moth with a background of yellowish orange and many dark specks. It looked like he had been sandpapered. He had four faint visible lines. There was a dark brown dot between the 1st and 2nd lines. Below the 4th line and toward the apices he had the figure of a flying bird. His costa and outer margin were deep rusty orange. Suggestion for ID: Datana perspicua.
