White moth with brown spot - Lipocosma

White moth with brown spot - Lipocosma
Chilton County, Alabama, USA
June 27, 2018
This was a white moth that had a four-pronged brown patch center over the thorax at the median level and extending onto the hindwings. The AM band was light brown and wavy and had some orangish shading basally. The PM line was also wavy with a very faint light brown patch just below it about midway between the costa and inner margin. Between the AM and PM lines there was a dark brown orbicular spot located at about 20% the distance from the costa to inner margin. There was also a light brown half circle at the apices. He looks like the Lipocosma sicalis I found back on 05/02/2018 (1515608). But Lipocosma adelalis also looks similar. I can't find many lateral views on either one for comparison.
