Halysidota #3 - Halysidota

Halysidota #3 - Halysidota
Tracys Landing, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
June 16, 2018
Halysidota tesselaris vs Halysidota harrisii? I know the guide says can only be determined by genitalia, but these all look so different, perhaps there is a subtle difference?

Three very different looking Halysidota (I think...)were attracted to lights in my breezeway. I will post them all as separate creatures because they were.

Halysidota #1 - Very distinct tan and light brown wing markings. Markings near head seem somewhat pinkish. The outer margin of the wing seems to have a distinctly lighter color.

Halysidota #2 - Markings on wings are fainter and wider. Outer margin of wing pretty much looks the same as the rest of the wing.

Halysidota #3 - It is showing its abdomen so not quite comparing apples to apples. Markings similar to #2, but the thorax markings are much wider and the white portion seems to be speckled.
