Lavender wing bug - Glenurus gratus

Lavender wing bug - Glenurus gratus
Chilton County, Alabama, USA
June 30, 2018
This was a large bug with a length of about 6 cm. The tips of his antennae seemed to be a little enlarged, like a spoon. His eyes were blue. His legs had telescopic sections, with the one closest to his body the largest. His abdomen traversed about 70% of his wings. His wings were translucent with some of the cells being dark brown, especially around his thorax. Most conspicuous though was the last 30% of his wings which had blotches of dark brown, black, and grayish pink- sampled as hex #c5a8bc with Photoshop. About midway on his abdomen there seems to be a brown glob of some kind. Mite?
