Promises to be a great book! Update: It is a great book!
U. of Washington Press Intro

I'm so impressed by this book
Such a great range of species covered...with helpful details and interesting insights on so many taxa! And the writing is exceptionally well done, which is rare (forgive the pun ;-).

One thing's for sure...after going through the long, laborious process or compiling and writing all the info in that book, Merrill must have an fantastically well-developed knowledge of the insects of the northwest!

Just got our copy
Great job, Merrill. Now we can't wait for our next Oregon trip!
