Metalmark Moth Cocoon

I have found several of these in the past few days on various leaves. All are about the same size and shape. All are covered with webbing with tiny round holes, and all have the same shape underneath.
I sure would like to know what they are.

sure the extant of species range, but compare to
May be typical of other genera in the family also.
