What is required for
Species ID?

Difficult task
The existing key to species is difficult to use. I suspect this lands in a group of species that can only be separated by the shape of male genitalia. Maybe some day I will be confident enough to create a species group page.

I hope so
I don't want to dissect anything to discover it's species, considering I am not an entomologist. However I do think there must be some other external characteristics that can identify it to species level. Most likely very minute differences that are just difficult to recognize.

A genus ID doesn't help me in my research but at least I am learning what genera aren't distinguishable to species level yet.
