Unknown Dragonfly

I photographed this dragonfly resting in the sun at 7:15 in the morning. I only had time for a couple of quick images before it flew off. I believe that that this could be some species of darner but am seeking additional information to help me with a final identification. Thank you.

Harlequin Darner
A bit hard to see thorax, but I think this is Gomphaeschna furcillata. Date is a bit early for any of the Aeshna species. Nice to see something from a local!
