Size: About 1 1/4 inches
I have found these little guys crawling across my basement floor during the end of summer for the past two years. What are they?

Moved from Millipedes.

Again, a parajulid millipede.

looks like a millipede to me.
Compare. They prefer moist environments and they eat rotten wood and dead shelf or bracket fungi among other things. They pose little harm to you unless you swallow one :-)
