Agrilus felix? - Agrilus species-a

Agrilus felix? - Agrilus species-a
Hwy 82 x Blue Heaven Rd, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
July 3, 2018
Size: 5.7 mm
Coordinates: 31.507, -110.804
Swept from a small soapberry tree (Sapindus saponaria var. drummondii), but it may well have been just resting there. Within a few meters were some other young trees: Acacia greggii, Prosopis velutina, Celtis reticulata, and Fraxinus velutina.
I'm not sure about the species, as there are several with indented white vittae, but with the narrow pronotum it looked to me more like A. felix than the others.

Agrilus species, not identifiable at the moment
This species of Agrilus can't be identified at the moment. It is either undescribed or a Mexican species not yet recorded from the U.S. I collected one specimen in the Dragoon Mountains in 2016 and sent photos to Henry Hespenheide, and he didn't know what it was. So, there are still discoveries to be made out there!

Thank you, Norm!
I'm really glad I could contribution material (if not expertise) to this discovery!
