Size: 4.5mm
A lilac leaf with a mine collected on 9 June 2018 and kept in a vial. The mine was later opened exposing several pale green larvae, which continued to feed actively. On 20 June 8 cocoons were found around the base of the vial. 2 adults emerged on 2 July, 2 on 5 July, and 4 on 6 July. This adult was photographed on 6 July. Specimen KES18-01, destined for the New Brunswick Museum.
