Small fly gnat things in my house driving me crazy

Small fly gnat things in my house driving me crazy
Saline, Washtenaw County, Michigan, USA
July 8, 2018
Size: < 1mm
There are tons of these showing up only after midnight in my house near the ceilings. No sign of them all day until midnight. They are really small and definitely not fruit flies. Seem to be attracted to light. Fly kinda erratic and walk along the ceiling alot. Don't seem to have a hump back or fuzzy antennae or red eyes so I think u ruled out phorid flies, drain flies and fruit flies. They are very small about the size of the distance between two ridges on your finger print.

Psychoda?

Mothfly?
Image is a little indisinct but looks like it might be a mothfly, family Psychodidae. Probably living in drains. I don't think they do any harm.

yes
Yes, this is a moth fly, sometimes also called drain flies. One way to get rid of them is to pour boiling water down the drain. But, I think they're kind of cute.

Sorry nothing cute about that
Sorry nothing cute about that what’s another way to get rid of them
