Opp, Covington County, Alabama, USA
July 8, 2018
Size: Abt 1 1/4 inches
This is a beautiful burnt orange fuzzy headed moth. It was very calm and remained in its position for a long period of time. It had a white dot on each forewing and flecks of back scattered on the wings. A darker band of burnt orange was across the top and bottom of each top wing. The antennas were feathered.
