This thing had been mangled and was dying on the leaf of a common sunflower (Helianthus annuus) when I found it in the morning at about 8:00 am. What the heck?!

Thanks. I was thinking some sort of Prionius as well but the antennae don't look the same to me. Hard to tell given it's condition.
