Host plant
Host plant is Dalea cylindriceps (Andean prairie clover), which is not commonly found in Kansas. In fact this plant has only been found in the four counties that follow the Cimarron River watershed: Grant, Morton, Stanton, and Stevens (Locklear 2013; BONAP.net).
