The Plague - Naupactus leucoloma

The Plague - Naupactus leucoloma
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
July 7, 2018
After almost a month of picking them off, I'm still dealing with these, although they seem to be fewer. The Fact Sheet link on the info page was a a bit alarming! I have found them on Mint (where they started), they LOVE the Rudbeckia, mostly eating at night (I go hunting with a flashlight), Mistflower, and this one is on Rock Rose (Pavonia lasiopetala). I guess I'll wait and see if there is another wave of them!

The next wave
came the following summer (2019).
