Stenomorpha opaca? - Stenomorpha opaca

Stenomorpha opaca? - Stenomorpha opaca
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
August 8, 1997
Size: ~18 mm
Found on a dirt road in the CO foothills at 6400' elevation. This beetle built like a tank resembles Stenomorpha opaca, which does occur in the area. I will also post a lateral view. Any help is much appreciated.
