Dancer - Argia apicalis - female

Dancer - Argia apicalis - Female
Red Oak, Ellis County, Texas, USA
July 1, 2018
Is this but yet another variation on Argia sedula?

Argia apicalis (female)
Moved from Damselflies.

In my opinion this is A. apicalis but there are people such as Greg Lasley and others who feel that A. apicalis and A. moesta females cannot be separated by the markings on the abdomen.
However I believe that this one is a "good" example of a female A. apicalis.
