Frank Etzler confirmed my hunches with this one :)!!!

This was originally described as the subspecies, Limonius fulvipilis seminudus by Van Dyke in 1932. Later (2009) Al Dhafer placed it in outright synonymy with nominate L. fulvipilis. Frank thinks it is a distinct species, and will eventually get elevated to Limonius seminudus.
