Sexual dimorphism in the purseweb spider Atypus snetsingeri - Atypus karschi - Male Female

Size: 11 mm (male)
Male and Female of Atypus snetsingeri from an excavated purseweb. Captive in a container the male was very active while the female remained quiescent and showed no hint of irritation or defensiveness toward the antics of the male.
