A very small mature mantis - Zeugomantispa minuta

A very small mature mantis - Zeugomantispa minuta
Dawsonville , Dawson County, Georgia, USA
July 13, 2018
Size: 1/2”
At first I thought this was a baby mantis based on its small size. Upon closer observation, it appears to be mature with wings. I’m only aware of three types of mantids in the US, all large insects.

Moved
There are 27 species of true mantids in the U.S. but these little guys are not closely related to them. The convergence is quite striking

Moved from ID Request.

not a praying mantis
but a mantidfly. Really cool bugs!
