How was this identified? These are difficult. If it's good, I'd like to add it to MPG.

As far as I can determine, this is the only species in southern CA with this appearance. But that's based on MPG pinned specimens. Maybe you can confirm or deny whether there is a look-alike here that is not yet shown on MPG.

Terry Harrison recommended not going beyond genus. He's not aware of other possibilities in your area but there could be and sight ID is difficult.
