Size: 1 1/2-2 inch
I was enroute to Wright's Lake on Ice House Road when I observed an area that had a variety of flowering plants so I stopped to see what type of butterfly species I could find and photograph. Smaller than the Pale Swallowtail I observed a fairly good sized whitish butterfly with some blacking markings on the wings. Researching Glassberg's Butterflies through Binoculars of the West, I found it to be Clodius Parnassian and if so, then it will be a lifer butterfly for me.
