Lachnocrepis parallela rec. n. Texas
This new Texas state record is added to the post-2012 caraboid registry. Thanks to Curt for starting and to Jeffrey for confirming the identification.

Moved
Looks just like it from here, but if you could confirm the presence of the characteristic thick yellow setae under the tarsi, that would clinch it.
Moved from ID Request.

Thanks for the ID. According
Thanks for the ID. According to Y. Bousquet's revision of the oodini this species was not known from Texas at the time of publication (1996).

Nor did this species make Texas
in YB2012. Not currently in the Caraboid Registry. Can someone please study this image or specimen carefully for confident ID before it officially becomes a new state record. The registry tentatively lists it under claims for new records. Thanks.

Peter, I ran it through Y.B.
Peter, I ran it through Y.B. key to Oodini and it keys correctly and fits description. The dorsal image, close up of mesoleg tarsi and labrum/clypeus setae clinches ID imho.
